The day started off with the bridal party at Sanctuary Salon, where the bridal party was getting their hair and makeup done.  From their we went back to the Bank Street Annex in Easton, PA (I may have had some of the bridesmaids in my car at this point and we may have had a bit of an adventure navigating through a couple of closed streets…:-) where the bridal party continued to get ready and Kathy got into her gorgeous dress and trusted me enough to fix her eyelash when it came loose.

Then we headed into Bethlehem for the ceremony, where it was obvious how much Kathy and Craig’s special relationship touches so many people.  From there, back to the Bank Street Annex for a fun party fitting of this great couple.

Congratulations to both of you.  I wish you nothing but the best in the future.

We went on a whirlwind tour of New York City during the session.  We spent some time hanging out at South Street Seaport, took a ferry over to Governor’s Island, stopped at an outdoor market where Craig got Kathy that pretty sunflower, and finished the night in Times Square.  Whew.  But what a blast.  Hope you enjoy their engagement

It’s that time of year!  Spring is right around the corner!  And it’s so much easier to believe this year than last year, now that my tulips and daffodils are actually budding pushing through.  (Amazing right?)

This year on March 11, I will have some very special guests in my studio and I invite all of you to bring get your kids Easter portraits done with my special feathered friends.

Drumroll please!!   I will be having baby Peking ducks in the studio.

Make Way for the Ducklings sessions will last 30 minutes.  The 30 minutes includes time unlimited photos of your child(ren) with the ducks.  Last year, the kids absolutely adored the little chicks and it made for some precious kids Easter photos.  Mini sessions will be $50 and include a 5×7 of your choice and a web file of that image.

Valentine’s Day is all about love, in all ages.  Celebrate the love with a special portrait session!

For kids, I am offering Valentine’s Day themed studio mini portrait sessions through January 31st.  Lots of cute kid props~ tons of pink (yay!) and red.  These mini sessions are $50 and last half an hour in my studio.  They include a password protected gallery of images, and a file to share on facebook or with email.  To go along with this session, wallet sized photos and Valentine’s Day photo cards will also be offered on sale.

For adults, particularly the ladies out there, give him something special this Valentine’s Day.  All Gift for Him Sessions (boudoir and glamour or fantasy photo sessions) are being offered at 15% off sale through January 20.  For those that don’t want a full day, there will be a day of studio mini budoir Gift for Him Mini Sessions.  These hour long sessions can be booked on January 22, 2012 only, and include your images in a password protected private gallery, and one fully retouched 8×10 picture of your choice.

Mira and Greg had a beautiful wedding day.  They were married in St. Isadore’s Church in Quakertown and held their reception at the amazing and very unique Sandcastle Winery in Erwinna.

They were surrounded by lots of family and friends as they celebrated their big day.

It’s easy to tell just how in love these two are.  Thanks for sharing your day with me, and all the best in the future.

Since I spend so much time photographing other people’s children, I thought for Christmas, I’d share one of my “children.”

They are getting married next September at Packer Chapel at Lehigh University.  Kara and Mark are the reason why I love being a portrait and wedding photographer.  Since meeting with them in July to discuss their wedding and through their wedding planning and a mutual love of ice cream, they have become good friends of mine.  It’s neat to be a part of such a happy and exciting time.

I had a blast doing their engagement photos at Lehigh University.  What other guy would hang upside down from a tree to take a fun picture with his fiance?

Tis the season to capture your precious memories.  What better way to do that than with a Christmas portrait session?

There is still time to book Christmas mini sessions or in home Christmas portraits.  But hurry!  Christmas is right around the corner and sessions need to be completed by December 10^th.

What is the right session for you?

Photos from Christmas sessions look great on a Christmas card, or get some wallet-sized prints and send them with your cards.  Framed prints and canvases of your portrait, of course, also make great gifts, and of course look great in your home.  Looking for something different?  How about a photo ornament to hang on your tree?

So let’s talk about your options.

A Christmas Mini Session is done in studio and is approximately 30-45 minutes of session time.  It is perfect for families with one or two children.  It is for families that are looking for a simple portrait of the whole family, with some individuals of the little ones.

A Full Studio Session  is a bit longer lasting- up to 2 hours and will feel like your very own personal holiday party.  I break out the Christmas music and some treats so everyone stays happy, and we do lots of variations on your portraits.  This is a great option for bigger families or families with lots of kids.

An In-Home Session is the same as a full studio session but rather than coming to me, I come to you!  Let’s take great pictures in your home, where all of your holiday magic happens.  In Home Portrait Sessions are great for groups with young children and babies, elderly, or if the family pooch is required in the portrait.  They are great for anyone looking for that super personalized holiday portrait.

Meet newborn twins Neva and Addison.  It was my pleasure getting to photograph these cuties a few days after they came home.

With any newborn, of course there is a certain amount of juggling that goes on during the photo sessions.  Babies operate on their own schedule and need to be fed and changed when they need it.  And of course, with twins, well you get the idea.

The beauty of an in-home newborn session: you don’t have to add to your list of worries by taking your baby or in this case babies to a busy studio and hoping the stars line up and your baby is sleeping happily for their pictures.  I come to you and we work around the babies needs to make this as no stress for new Mommies and Daddies and babies as can be.

Added perk: we get to use all the cool baby stuff you have in your house to come up with pictures that are super personalized for you.  The baskets the babies are sleeping in is a gift from their paternal grandparents.
